Consultation has concluded.
Council would like to thank everyone that provided a feedback through our website or participating in the drop-in sessions.
We received feedback from members of community that selected the below layout as their preferred option for the the new toilet unit at Estcourt Street.
This option allows for better circulation for patrons utilising the facility.
Council will proceed with the preferred option and finalise the design. Works are intended to commence in early 2021.
Some feedback given by the community:
“This is awesome!!”
“The toilet doors are further apart which makes it easier not to run into people while social distancing. Aesthetically would appear more attractive from the street as well. Social distancing would be also easier with the doors further apart.”
“Either option is fine. A great asset to the community”
“Well needed”
“More room for door openings if using frame or wheelchair. Will be great to have accessible toilets”
“It is a good idea”
