Overview
The amendment implements the statutory recommendations of the Timboon Precinct Plan (2024) by updating the Municipal Planning Strategy and the local policy within the Planning Policy Framework of the Corangamite Planning Scheme.
The precinct plan aims to provide urban design direction for public areas, in and around the town centre, including Council owned assets on public land.
The amendment applies to all the public land in and around the Timboon town centre.

The Corangamite Shire Council planning authority has prepared Amendment C68 to the Corangamite Planning Scheme.
The amendment proposes to:
Update planning directions for Timboon.
Add a new local planning policy for Timboon, including an updated Framework Plan.
Change the zoning of land at 30 Bailey Street, Timboon, from Public Park and Recreation Zone to Public Use Zone 6.
