Consultation has concluded.
Lakes Recreation Reserve is an important sporting, recreation and open space for the residents of Corangamite Shire. The reserve is located 6km west of Camperdown on Sadlers Road.
In December 2023, the Corangamite Shire Council commissioned a study to prepare a Master Plan for Lakes Recreation Reserve. The aim of the Master Plan study was to establish a 10-year vision for Lakes Recreation Reserve in collaboration with reserve user groups and the broader Corangamite Shire community to ensure the sporting facilities meet current and future community needs and requirements.
The Master Plan has been informed by a review of existing facilities and spaces, relevant background reports, and from engagement with reserve user groups and Council staff. The Master Plan will guide the ongoing improvement and development of the reserve.
This is your opportunity to share you feedback on the draft Master Plan. Feedback is open until 5 pm, Thursday 24 April.
The figure below shows the scope of the Master Plan study, although the layout of the golf course and the condition of fairways and greens was out of scope.
