Consultation has concluded.
In 2022 Corangamite Shire Council, Moyne Shire, and Warrnambool City Council worked together to create a Regional Digital Strategy to support the region to embrace digital transformation, innovation, and smart technology solutions.
The aim of creating this Strategy, and ultimately a digital region, is to improve liveability, sustainability, collaboration, and economic opportunities for everyone who visits, works, and lives in the area.
The Strategy has been designed in collaboration with the feedback from the broader community and reflects the needs, and priorities of our Region. Working collaboratively, the Strategy focuses on shared actions based on collective goals and enables region-wide benefits for our communities.
The Strategy focuses on four key strategic themes to guide actions in developing a digital region. These themes are:
Enabling digital infrastructure
A thriving and sustainable digital economy
A digitally inclusive and liveable community
A smart and digital government
